Description
Pulmopres 20 mg — Quick Product Card
- Composition: Tadalafil 20 mg per tablet
- Indication: Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) in adults
- Dosing style: Once daily, same time each day
- Form: Oral tablet, prescription only
What Pulmopres Does
Tadalafil relaxes and widens the blood vessels in the lungs. That lowers pulmonary blood pressure and helps the heart pump more efficiently. Many patients notice better exercise ability and less breathlessness after regular use.
Who It’s For
Adults diagnosed with PAH, as prescribed by a specialist. It’s not for children, and it isn’t an erectile‑dysfunction starter product.
How to Take Pulmopres 20 mg
- Usual Adult Dose
The standard regimen for pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is 40 mg once daily.
This equals two Pulmopres 20 mg tablets taken together once a day, or as directed by your doctor.
- Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember on the same day.
If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
- Overdose
Taking more than the prescribed amount of tadalafil may cause low blood pressure, dizziness, or fainting.
Seek immediate medical attention if an overdose is suspected.
Safety Check (Read Before Use)

Pulmopres can be taken with or without food.
Limit alcohol intake, as it may lower blood pressure.

If you experience dizziness or light-headedness, wait until you feel normal before driving or operating machinery.
- When Will I Feel a Difference?
Pulmopres is intended for daily, long-term management.
Improvements in exercise capacity are often noticed within 2–4 weeks of regular use.
Storage & Handling
- Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from sunlight and moisture.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is Pulmopres 20 mg the same as tadalafil for ED?
No. Same active ingredient, different indication and dosing. Pulmopres is intended for PAH and is taken once daily.
- What is the usual dose for PAH?
Most adults take 40 mg once daily (two 20 mg tablets at the same time). Follow your specialist’s plan.
- Can I take it with bosentan or ambrisentan?
Some PAH regimens combine agents, but bosentan can lower tadalafil levels. Only combine medicines if your PAH specialist prescribes them and monitors you.
- How long do I need to stay on it?
PAH therapy is long‑term. Don’t stop or change the dose without medical advice.
- What if I have kidney or liver problems?
Dose adjustments—or avoidance—may be required. Your doctor will decide after checking your reports.
- Can I crush or split the tablets?
Swallow whole with water unless your pharmacist specifically says otherwise.
